I'm leaving on Dec. 22 out of the port in Lauderdale... does anyone have any recommendations of a hotel for a one night pre-cruise stay, preferably one that would pick me up at the airport the night before and drop me off at the port the next morning? Thanks!

The Comfort Suites is a good hotel that provides complimentary shuttle service both from the airport and to Port Everglades. We paid around $80 the last time we stayed there.
Amerisuites also provides shuttle from airport and to port.
There is also Embassy Suites.
I am staying at Springhill Marriott in FLL for 3 nights prior to my Oct. cruises. They have complimentary airport and cruise port shuttles. The AAA rate is $80.10 per night. I have never stayed there , but someone on this forum recommended it. The suites sound nice and I also wanted a nice pool and restaurants within walking distance. Hopefully this hotel with provide it. Look at the Marriott website for pics.
Check out the listings for winning Priceline.com bids in the FLL area on www.biddingfortravel.com - many good places with airport/port shuttles going for $50 or less. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in FLL through Priceline and it was fine.
