Fantasy/Ecstasy?

My immediate family (no Dad this time) and myself are thinking about cruising out of Charleston this February or March, and those seem to be the ships involved (there might have been one other, too). We're two reasonably active middle-aged adults and the world's most staid twenty-year old.

I understand that they are smaller, older ships, and they have fewer amenities than other CCL ships I've been on.but is the overall standard lower? There seems to be only one pool. Is it very crowded?

We do not have any very involved agenda. We really just want to eat a lot and lie around in deck chairs in the sun. Kid has a couple of history-centric goals in Nassau, but that's it. Husband would probably like to meet a beach at some point.

We are also looking at two state rooms, because they seem to be quite a bit smaller, particularly the outsides, than on some other ships, and I do not want the giant child sleeping over my head.
