Hi
My husband and I are planning on travelling to Europe over the summer( June-Aug) and I just can't see how I can fit everything in and also relax so now we are thinking of doing a cruise. We will be travelling with our 2yr old and 4 yr old
Anyone who can advise us on this as an option I would greatly appreciate it.
Many Thanks,
Claire
Ideally we would want the cruise to cover greece and the south of Italy anything else would be a bonus and length really is flexible but I guess no longer the 14days
europe summer cruise

Many people travel on cruise with young children and have a great time. You'll find it no different than traveling anywhere with your kids. Since they are only 2 and 4 years old they are going to be quite active and demand a lot of your personal attention so don't expect the trip to be "too relaxing". At that age YOU and your husband are going to be the children's main source of entertainment. While some "family oriented" cruise lines have Children's Programs it's doubtful your 2YO will will be eligible to participate and your 4YO may just meet the cut-off age.
There are lots of different cruise lines in all price ranges that offer itineraries that will take you to Greece and southern Italy. Check out itineraries offered by any of the following:
Norwegian Cruise Line
Carnival
Royal Caribbean
Regent Seven Seas
MSC
to name a few. Go to the cruise line websites and/or use travel sites like Orbitz or Travelocity or the major airline website to see what types of cruises are being offered.
I would think Disneyland has the most kids' programs.
When checking out cruises:
is the 2 yo potty trained? may or may not be allowed in the pool
how old should be a child to be enrolled in a kids' program? some ships start from 3 yo
do they offer baby-sitting? you may want to have a couple of adult dinners or shows
I agree, take a Disney Cruise, the best organized ship for kids entertainment. Travelling with kids is not easy sometimes and being on a cruise, is much easier for you and funny too!!
