My avoidance of the 6 star lines has been the dress code for dinner and the cost. It seems you cannot easily get deep discounts on their Africa and or Far East trips and I really would like to wear dress slaks and a nice sport shirt and shoes (not sandles and my wife slacks and a blouse.
I really don't care if I am in the 10% thatdress that way but prefer not being in the 1%.
Also, on a 9-14 day cruise on their ships I would like 2/3 land stops and 1/3 max. "at sea" days.
Any thoughts based on your experience in the past 2-3 years? Thanks.

You can dress as you describe on Oceania and Radisson, both luxury lines. They both offer promos for certain sailings.
