Hotel is near the pier overlooking the bay. It's in OK shape. I had a suite and the room had wear, but it was clean. You;ll need to taxi to South Beach, its about a 10 minute ride. Dont pay more than $125/nite. Stay at the Marriott next door in that case, much nicer hotel.
The reason I was asking for the doubletree is that I have free nights at hotel properties. I think there is a doubletree south beach, do you know if that one is nicer? Is it closer to the pier?
DoubleTree South Beach 17th and Collins.Great location if you want SoBe.Much more "action".Art Deco hotel.Pier is 4 miles away,cab drive.I wud take SoBe over Biscayne.
