Hi all. For 4th of July my husband & I are deciding between 2 four day cruises - Disney Wonder or Carnival's Fascination.
Now I know the quality will be better on Disney. It's just that we are concerned about being overrun with kids if we go with Disney. (We've been burned before where "adults only" areas in resorts we stayed at were nonexistentant.)
Also, we don't want a wild crowd & I have heard that Carnival's schorter cruises can be wild. We sailed on the Paradise this August. One of our major turn off's was the large number of unattended kids & adolescents all around the ship with no adult supervision.
I'm not sure which direction to go in. These are the only 2 cruises that fit our time schedule.

PS - I called Disney for a rate & it was expen$ive! 1400. per person for a category 5 (verandah). For 1,000. per person on the fascination we would get a suite with a whirlpool tub.
If I go with Disney, should I try another agency for a better deal??
Please advise ( :

Question: Your cruise "topic" on the forum asks about the Fantasy, but your message is about the Fascination. Which one are you talking about? We just got off the Fantasy on Jan 1 after a 4-day cruise to Freport/Nassau and had a great time. The food was really exceptional! Yes, we had lots of kids on board because of the holiday, but I didn't find them to be that much of a bother. The usual ship "load" is about 2000 passengers. We had 2630!!! YIKES! But I really can't complain. Like I said, exceptional food, nice table mates... it was really great!

Sorry, you are right. I meant the Fantasy!
