Disney Cruise over Thanksgiving
My husband and I were thinking about taking a 7 night Disney Cruise in the western Carribean over Thanksgiving with our 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We were quoted $6700 for everything. I was just wondering if this is an average cost for a Disney cruise? I just started looking into it this week. Is it cheaper if you actually book a full year in advance. For those of you who have been on a Disney cruise, do you think our kids would enjoy it, or are they too young? Thank you!

Who quoted these prices to you? The total seems high unless it includes airfare. But my guess is that the Thanksgiving cruise (being in super high demand) commands a super-high price. This sounds about 1.5 times what I'd normally expect to pay for one of these cruises.
These cruises also vary wildly by the cabin type (inside cabins are half as much as outside with balcony).

I'm sure you're being quoted the correct rate then, but it is very high. If you want to go on a Thanksgiving cruise, you'll probably need to pay the price, but if it were me, I'd shift and go at another time if possible. I'm sure if you went on the cruise after or before the pricing would change dramatically, November is low season for cruising in general.

We crusied the Caribbean with Disney last year around Thanksgiving. We board the ship on the weekend after Thansgiving day. The rate is nowhere near what you were quoted. It was just a tad under $1600 per person and we had a verander room. Does your rate includes extras such as airfare, transportation from Disney resort to port? You may want to ask what the price would be for a verander suite. The difference could be minimal.
Your children are probably too young for cruising, and the ship may not have enough activities for them. They may enjoy the theme park more, especailly if you stay at a Disney resort that is themed for younger children (example: Art of animation)
