Am going on Crystal for the first time in December. Would appreciate any input from experienced Crystal alums on what is worn by both men and women on:
(a) Casual nights,
(b) Informal nights.
I understand that tuxes and gowns are the norm for formal nights, but would like a clear understanding about the other two.

We went on the Crystal Symphony Med cruise this spring. Crystal tended to be a bit more formal than some of the other cruise lines I read about on this forum - but really, people dressed at all levels - except jeans. We really saw very few people in jeans. Here's what we wore: On casual nights: Him - slacks and shirt, Her - slacks or casual dress. Informal nights: Him - slacks/sports jacket, Her - silk slacks outfit or dress. Not sure which ship you're going on - but there are also alternate restaurants you can go to as well. We pretty much wore the same thing no matter where we ate - but you do have options. We LOVED Crystal and while it was a bit more expensive than some of the other options, we wouldn't have changed anything. It was the most amazing experience. The service is beyond description - and the food, well, the weight gain says it all. You'll have a great time. Any more questions, feel free to contact me.
Went on Crystal Harmony through the Panama Canal--Debi is correct on the dress. Don't fret on formal nights either--a dark suit is fine and any kind of nice pants outfit or long dress is fine.
Pam,
We plan on going on the same cruise (Panama - Ft lauderdale. How was your exprience...
