Cruise with Young Children in April

So my husband and I booked a cruise for our family for this upcoming April. We will be bring along our daughters who will be 4 and 6 months. We booked the DreamWorks Experience through Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas because of all of the kid friendly on ship amenities. The cruise will be going from Texas to Honduras to Belize to Cozumel.

One of my main questions is what are some good tips for keeping my daughters' skin safe from the bright Caribbean sun? We plan on visiting the beach at least in Cozumel, possibly in Honduras, but otherwise we plan on spending most of our time on board in the pool or inside doing the numerous activities they have available for young children (so we will be at least be able to escape the sun several times per day!).

Other than that I am welcome to any other tips you have for first time cruisers!!! Especially tips that concern kids!
