Need help and advise on the cruise from BA to Chile. I am trying to decide between land tour on this region and cruise. Cruise will be relaxing and at the same time will cover a big area. But I am afraid that we wouldn't have a chance to see the beauty of the region. Are the ports far away from Patagonia? What can we see on excursions from the ship? What is the best time to go in terms of the wearther? January?Feb?March?
What excusions did you take? Did you feel it was too many days at Sea? Did it feel like a waste of time?
I realize that those questions sound general, but at this point I am torn between cruis (the best it has to offer) and land tour.
