How far is it from Disney Cruise terminal to Tivoli Gardens? Is it walkable or do we need to take a bus/taxi? I saw in a Disney Video Blog that Tivoli was shutting down to the public the day Disney was in port to allow for disney only guests with shore excursions. True? We are not doing an excursion. We want to do it on our own.
Thanks

I am not sure which place the Disney cruise ship docks. But I would guess it would be 2 or 3 miles. viamichelin shows Tivoli Gardens at 2 km from the city centre. On the map it looks to be about the same distance to the port from the city centre - depends upon where the ship is docked. If it is 4 km wouldn't that be about 2.4 miles.
There will be taxis you can take - not sure about a bus.
We are going to Copenhagen in August - I think it's bus #26 and you can pay cash to the driver. There are 2 piers - Langelinie and Freeport - which one is yours? Also, are you docking on weekend or a weekday - this bus does not run on Sat/Sun I think.
Never read anything about park shutting down for a cruise - maybe you misunderstood, and it's only a discounted admission? Or maybe an early admission for Disney cruisers while park is closed to everybody else? Like if they open at 10, you can come at 8 am?
It is early admission for Disney guests. I misunderstood the first go around.
