Civitavecchia hotel before cruise

Have been to Rome many times. Taking a cruise in October from the port of Civitavecchia and have been thinking of staying right in Civitavecchia the night before the cruise for convenience. Can anyone give me a suggestion for a hotel?

I'd recommend you check tripadvisor for a Civitavecchia hotel. You might want to consider staying at the Rome airport for the night and getting an early transfer to the port the ships don't generally leave until late afternoon.

Check which hotels are used by your cruise line. I use them very often, but often book my hotel separately because I don't need the extra services. It helps to have a recommendation on a quality hotel in an area that you don't know. It is possible to get the cruise ship transportation from these hotels if you want. There is often cruise line personnel in the lobby to answer any last-minute questions. It offers convenience and peace of mind when I'm traveling and there are enough challenges in traveling already.

Best Regards,
Julia
