leaves Barcelona and goes to Nice,Rome,Florence, and Naples/Capri. I wasn't sure which would be nicer, Royal Caribbean or Celebrity. They both are 7 days going to the exact same ports.I'm 30 looking for a cruise with good food.

First, Royal Carribean owns Celebrity which is more upscale.. We have left Barcelona four times and love that city..There is even a hotel that we book called The Hotel Continental which is on La Rambl (family owned), has free internet service and refreshments 24 hours a day..If your looking for a driver/guide we have somebody we have used thanks to this board and would b e glad to share his name..Percy also on these boards will vouch for them.. [email protected] We fell in love with Rome on our last cruise and we will be going back in October for two nights and then cruising the Holyland on the Celebrity Equinox, in Florence/Livorno we did Cinque Terra.. the five villages along the ocean and the hills..magnificent.. as for Nice you can probably take the train to Eze.. an Naples/Capri.. well, we are about to go there ourselves. Once you make up your mind which ship to take...go on Cruise Critic and see if you can hookup with other people and join tours,, especially in Rome and Naples..

I assume you're looking after the summer as the Constellation is spending the summer months on the Baltic.
From what I understand, they completed a refurbishment on the way over to Europe this spring. (We're booked for 12 nights in July.)

We were on the Constellation for the recent TA before it went into drydock in Hamburg. Our third Celebrity cruise, first on the Constellation. Totally loved the ship and are looking forward to sailing on her again, maybe the November TA from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale.
Although there are many 30-ish passengers on Celebrity ships, most are older, so you may like RCCL, which attracts a younger crowd, better. For a cruise ship, the food is really good, IMHO.
Thanks for the Barcelona info, ParrotMom.
