Carry-on Luggage: Bottled Toiletries and Lotions
I'm aware that TSA regulations for liquid containers packed in carry-on luggage for airliners is currently limited to 3.4 fluid ounce/100 ml plastic bottles. However, I'm fortunate to be able to drive to our departure port. Do these same TSA airline requirements for bottled liquids apply as well to passengers boarding cruise ships?

No. They will only want to know if you carry any alcohol. All other liquids, sprays, drinks, medicine - everything is allowed, and I don't think there is any weight limit, maybe like 250 lbs per passenger.
We took a cruise from our city, no problem with water bottles.

That's only one of the joys of sailing from a home or nearby port! On a cruise we took last April that sailed from San Francisco, we had a contest on Cruise Critic about which of us would take the most pairs of shoes. I think I took about 16 (mostly sandals) and I lost! I love dressing up on cruises and can take more clothes if I want to, don't have the expense or hassle of flying these days and only bridge toll to worry about! I only wish more cruises (other than Alaska) were available from San Francisco!!
