I have never cruised before. Myself and a girlfriend (and maybe 2 more) want to take one of the 3 or 4 day cruises out of LA. We are all 30 and married and want to have a fun weekend. Which would be better? Carnival or RCCL?
Please also let me know any comments if you've only been on one of them.
Thanks!
Patrice

I doubt you'll see a whole lot of difference between the two lines on a 3 or a 4-day. Carnival will have larger cabins, but the deomographics, pricing, ameneties, etc. will be pretty similar.
Short cruises are a blast; I'm sure you'll have a great time either way.
Both lines are similar and my experience is that Carnival's entertainment is better than that of RCCL with the sole exception being the ice show. However, as far as I know, Carnival does not have any rockwalls, inline skating or ice skating...
To me, the food was about the same, and I believe that Carnival actually had better food than RCCL.
