STAY CLEAR OF THE HOLIDAY. The ship is a floating disaster. A 3 year old in our family was almost electrocuted by a 220 volt socket hanging out of the wall. This is just one of at least fifteen other things that happened to us. The ship is old and ugly.

I will traveling on the Holiday this coming Sat, May 11th. I, myself, am only 20, but I will traveling w/ 10 couples ranging from 40-75. I have read both good and bad about the Holiday. I don't really have a problem w/ it being an older ship. I traveled on NCL's Norway 2 years ago and had heard terrible things about it, but I had a great time!

Carly, I am the world's most outspoken critic of short cruises. Never again. I've had 7 day cruises on different lines and always had a good time.
Okay, Nanette- you have alcohol science down to an art, woman.A PH.D in ETOH, by golly. Enjoyed your review but had a hangover by the last line.

Actually, Carnival spent alot of money on the Holiday this year. She was in dry dock and wet dock.

New carpeting, remodeled bathrooms, etc.

I hadn't noticed the purple shag, but probably would have said, "GROOVY!".

(It would take more than tacky carpeting to put a damper on one of my vacations...you make your own fun/create your own reality)!
