One of our children is deciding on cabins. They are going on the Carnival Dream for the ports and price.
Does anyone know what the large open area on the Empress deck is at midship?
Thanks.

The Empress deck is a good deck since it is sandwiched between 2 decks of cabins. The large open area is on the decks above and below also. Could be used for room service prep, linen and towel storage, laundry, etc. We generally try to steer clear of those unknown areas if possible we like to have cabins above, below, and to the sides as well as across the hall. Unknown areas have a tendency to create noise late at night and early morning.
Frank,
You are probably right. Something to think about with the noise late at night.
