We will be on the Windstar from Cancun to Belize on March 2nd. Has anyone taken this cruise? It appears that the sports platform will be used at most ports of call. What activities are available from this platform? Experiences?...Thanks...Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,
The last time I was on a Windstar ship they had motor boats, water skiing, scuba diving, kayaking and snorkeling off the sports platform.
Paul
We took this cruise over Christmas. I think we only used the sports platform a couple of days. If there is a beach available (as in Roatan or Goff's Caye), they base the sports from the beach. We used their snorkeling equipment (get your equipment early so you get a good snorkel) and rode the "banana". I wanted to water ski but it was too windy on the one day I could have skied. (Other days, I was away on excursions.) If you are adventurous, take the waterfall tour in Omoa and go behind the waterfall. And we loved the cave tubing excursion. Take a few underwater disposable cameras - I only had one and missed pictures from the caves!
John,
Whiich excursions did you take and which ones did you like or hear that were good? Would appreciate any feedback. We snorkel and have our own equipment. What was the water temp. like?..Thanks Marilyn
