I prefer to book with a local travel agent. They know a lot more than I do, have access to a lot more info and a re more accessible. Then too you have someone to help you if there are problems.

By "travel site" you mean an online site, I believe.
My booking first choice would be as Reme says a real live person - IF they are willing to work for you and look for best pricing. Second choice would be the cruise line. A very distant, not sure I would, choice would be on-line agent.

I agree. A local travel agent who specializes in cruises. Someone I can talk with face-to-face.

I've been using a on-line discounter who returns e-mail
promptly and also telephone calls...and they give me
cabin credits to boot!
