Anyone recommend cruising via Silversea in the Black See? We are looking at a possible cruises from Istanbul with stopoffs at various posts. We've cruised with Grand Circle and Royal Caribbean and Pride of America but mostly have been on land tours or on our own.
Thanks for any advice. (Yes, just saw the note about the Silversea collision)

We love Silversea cruise line. The all inclusive price may seem a bit high at first until you realise it is truly "all inclusive" and noone expecting a tip during or at the end of the cruise. Means you can offer a drink to a new found friend while getting terrific service. We loved that the Maitre d' could miraculously seat people who arrived with no notice. Must have an incredible mind for numbers. Cabin staff are wonderful, food is delicious, and everything seems to work seamlessly. Wine is good too.
I would make sure you got a Verandah Cabin so you can enjoy watching early morning port arrivals without moving too far. Also good for departures. We were with Silversea in Vietnam last year and are astounded to hear about the accident. It struck us how careful they are with the ship and the safety of the passengers. Enjoy!
Thanks ragout for your reply. Does sound like thumbs up. We have come across a bargain so will see how plans develop. There will be in port tour costs. Likely a pre cruise stop in Istanbul.
