I'm trying to decide what would probably be the best time to do the New York to Halifax cruise. We'd like nice weather but want to see the Fall colors. Any help asap would be greatly appreciated!
Best time for New England/Canada

As a resident of coastal Massachusetts, I would suggest that if fall colors are your priority, any time mid-Sept-mid-Oct would be the time. Our colors peak, depending on Mother Nature, of course, by Columbus Day weekend, sometimes a bit earlier. North of us, prior to that. Sept can be lovely warm days and cool nights, you will need layers. It is also hurricane season, but we seldom have a major one, but one can never guess. As we get towards mid-Oct, days are cooler and nights can be cold. We are worth the view.
