I am taking my Mom in the Spring and want something she will be very comfy on. I understand the Celebrity Zenith is very nice.
Any feedback on this ship vs. Nordic Empress out of Bayonne and NCL Crown from Philly?

Ibell:

I spent 14 days on the Zenith last Nov. It is a great ship--excellent food;the crew and staff are very professional yet friendly;the ship is easy to get around (not that large).
Have not been on the other two ships you mentioned, so can't give a comparison.
I just don't think you can go wrong with a Celebrity ship.
Have a good cruise!!
Ask to be booked right by an elevator....makes it so much easier!
I sailed with my 95 yr. young Mother for 5 years on the Seabourn ships. She was on a walker, but, our suite located by the elevator, she went all over the ship!
Good for you! Bravo for you taking your sweet Mother!
Happy Sailing!

Thank you so much for your responses
Ibell.....it's so easy to travel with an elderly parent! The airports are great as are the cruise lines! No lines, etc., etc!
Have fun! MB
Msg for Ibell. Your msg mentioned the NCL Crown out of Philadelphia to Bermuda. The Crown is sailing from NY starting on June 6th (we are booked on this cruise). Just wanted to let you know.
Norwegian Dawn is very nice
check it on the NCL Website
We sailed last June and can't wait to go again
I would recommend a smaller ship that will require less walking and there will not be crowding for your Mom. Seabourn, Raidsson or the like will probably fit the bill perfectly. You can also receive room service served one course at a time, includes liquor, if your Mom doesn't feel up to getting dressed to go to the diningroom.
You and your Mom will have a very special time together!
Thank you!
