bermuda cruise in April or july??
Planning a cruise to Bermuda and need to know the best time to go. I Have some time in april also in july. What are the better cruise lines and best time to book since I hear its more high end than the carribean. I cruised before and prefer the bigger ships. I would be leaving out of New York. <BR>

My husband and I cruise to Bermuda every year in July on the NCL Majesty out of Boston. It's very hot in July but the water temperature is also warm. We prefer this as we spend most of our time at the beach.I've talk to people who have gone in April and they said the it's cold on the way there and the water in Bermuda is cold at that time of year.

I'm with Pat...we go to Bermuda on the Majesty from Boston either the end of May or after school starts in September.. I would not go in April as the seas are too rough..and July the ship is loaded with "rug rats"..After the second week in September, most of them have gone back to school..I wou.l do the second or the third week..otherwise than that you run into storms..This will be our 9th trip to Bermuda on the Majesty..The cruise lines are limited by the Government of Bermuda as to how many people can be brought in and some of the ships must arrive with empty cabins..The Majesty has been stretched much to the consternation of the Tourism Bureau..and the concern is that if there is a storm..and there was last year.. the ships can't get through the straights to St. George.. I;ve heard raves about the Nordic Empress going to Bermuda too.. For more info...please write..
