Eight of us will be taking a cruise next year. Which ship is better the Zenith or the Horizon. Which deck is better not to feel too much rocking? We want middle of the ship and Oceanview. I know the shops and casino are not opened when you are in port, what about the pool? Thanks for any info.

Hi Riba,
Both ships are the same. The Horizon is two years older but difficult to tell when on the ship.
It is said that lower on the ship and midship is better. But, when a ship rocks, it rocks all over. Can not be in two places at once if you are suseptible to motion sickness. So who really knows?
Pools are open.
Paul
The one difference between the Zenith & Horizon is that the hot tubs on the Zenith are on the top deck. The jogging track is located there along with lounge chairs. The hot tubs on the Horizon are next to the pool & they have racks to lay on. If you want quiet in the hot tubs, go on the Zenith. otherwise, the layout is the same. Have fun, both ships are beautiful.Bermuda is my favorite island.
One other difference is that the Horizon is usually rated higher in food quality than the Zenith. I've sailed both ships and found them both to be wonderful. Thought service slightly better on Horizon, too (imho).
Regards...Bob
