We are thinking in taking the Western Med. 10 night cruise on the Azamara Journey that departs Barcelona and ends in Venice. Has anyone cruised with them, or on that particular Western Mediterranean/Adriatic route?
The ports of call are-Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, Dubrovnik, Split, Koper, and Venice. We prefer to take off on our own when in port, so any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

Azamara journey is one of two former Renaissance ships operated by Celebrity. They have replaced the library on each ship with an additional bar/lounge.
Each of the ship's has been operating since last summer, and you should be able to get information on cruisecritic.com regarding their service. That is a good location to get information regarding private tours or walking tours in each of the ports.
I have planned private tours in most of the cities on your itinerary by searching for them on the Europe forum. My perception is that you do not even need to start a new thread.
