As much as I've travelled, I still get 'butterflies'

Jump to last reply

We have travelled non stop for 28 years, but I still get butterfiles the day we leave for the I pull away from home and enter t he terminal, I think of all I am leaving behind me, will I ever see my kids again, will I cope with anything that comes us, will bad things happen while I am away (both my mother and my sister died while I was ou t of the country--and I should have been there to hold their hand, etc. Worry worry.

Soon as I am seated on the plane and luggage stowed, a whisky in hand, a deep breath or two, a firm grip on DH's hand, and I am fine. Off to new horizons.

anyone else.
