Alaska in June

Jump to last reply

My husband and I have booked an Alaskan cruise on Princess the first week in June this year. We will be traveling to:
Ketchican 6 am - 3pm
Tracy Arm Fjord cruising 5am - 9 am
Juneau 12 pm -10pm
Skagway 7 am - 5 pm

We are very active and are looking to do kayaking, biking, hiking, etc. Wondering if anyone has any words of advice for what types of activities to do where. I have read that the princess excursion for whale watching is good? Is kayaking in Ketchican better than Skagway? Biking?

Are there independant vendors that are better than the cruise line excursions?

Advice is appreciated.
