I've used ShoreTrips before and no problem.
Sorry, but with this costly touring option, I only recommend booking direct. It is superior for 100% accuracy on bookings, all your questions directly answered. I have personally heard of screw ups with Alaska bookings. This company is not based in Alaska and knows little about the tours outside what is written. They are order takers on commission. About it.

As for a Juneau glacier trek, I only recommend Northstar and their longers level 3 trek. Anything shorter is just too short, you barely get out, which only goes as fast as the slowest person, before you turn around and head back. Although you do have the ice climbing option with this tour, you do not have to participate is you wish not to. It also does NOT require "superior" fitness skills to do this trek, but the descriptions do appear to weed out some people.
Thanks for your help....I will check out Northstar.
You need to do your research. Log into CruiseCritic.com, go to the Boards, pick your cruisline and see what experienced cruises recommend.

And you are grossly advertising. Your SALES are based on commissions and who you have this business relationship with, not with who has the best tours. Sorry, but your couple employees going on a couple tours, are in no way, going to be very helpful compared to dealing direct with the operators. No service, no advice??? You have got to be kidding.
Shame on ME???? WHAT in the "H" are you talking about? Your comment says it all- benefit "me"??? meaning your company. I get no benefit from my recommendations, of which I can run circles around you in Alaska.
I have used Shortrips for years. I don't use them often since I work with only small ships and we do things a little differently. But all clients, in destintions Alaska, and others, that I have put on ShoreTrips have always been 100% satisfied. As a travel agent I of course know who and what and can also go direct as can my clients. The conveniece and experience of ShoreTrips works well.
We do large group cruises about every year. The last time we went to Alaska, we used shore trips for all of our cruisers and they were awesome. No problems whatsoever. There were a couple of issues where the passengers missed their shore excursion and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend them
