Advice for 1st Timers - Baltic Cruise

Jump to last reply

We're about to book our first baltic cruise and would love the benefit of your collective wisdom. So please do contribute to this string so we'll have a chance at the best vacation in Scandinavia and St. Petersburg.

I've never done a cruise before being very independent and having always just done this on our own and our own rented wheels... but the relative expense of this region has convinced us to give cruising a try... We like good food, interesting historical sites and natural scenery, so this looks to be a trip that could "have it all..."

We've not yet booked the ship for a trip this summer July, Aug 2013, so please advise us with tips on the best cruise lines, room selection, dining advice etc.

Thank you
Claytoniansbc
