As a result of a failure of one of its propellers, one of the Carnival brands' ships P&O Ventura is sailing at slower speed and will skip calling on Funchal (Madeira) as a port of call on the ship's Spring Transatlantic repositioning cruise from Caribbean to UK (departing from Barbados to Southampton England)

The Ventura itinerary change will save the ship's sailing schedule - a March 22 scheduled drydock plus all Ventura's departure dates from UK on cruises to Mediterranean, Baltic Sea and Norway, mini cruises and to Canaries - all with round-trip departures from Southampton. Probably the hungry-greedy media will use somehow the fact that this is a Carnival ship to make another "bad bad Carnival" topic.
