Will be flying into Manchester, N.H. on Oct. 5. Will then spend a couple of days in Maine, backtracking to Manchester to pick up my wife and daughter and then spending a few more days in Vermont and N.H.
Two questions: my daughter loves horseback riding. Anyone know of a nice B&B or country inn in Vermont that has on-premises horses available to guests?
Also, I know I'm getting pretty late in making reservations. But with this economy, I would think there would still be a lot of options left for lodging in Maine, Vermont and N.H. this year, especially with B&B's. Can anyone confirm or dispute that opinion?
Thanks as always.

You are on the cruise forum, not a lot of horses here. But for what it's worth, you will be coming at top foliage season for the areas you list. There may be a few options but they will be at top dollar.
