Why Barbados?
We're planning a trip for February 2015 to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
I've done some research and if we go we'll stay on the west coast since it seems that the beaches there are more to our liking. (calmer waters) We'll rent a car to do some exploring but for the most part we like to snorkel, my husband dives, and we like to relax on a lovely beach and read. (with a nice tropical drink in hand!)
So....Barbados? If you've ever been there what did you love about it? What are some of the sights that shouldn't be missed? Is it one of your favorite places or not?

Barbados is a great choice! it is actually my favorite island in the Caribbean. And yes the west coast has the best beaches if you're looking for calm waters. make sure to visit Accra beach though. in my opinion, its the best beach on the island. For a great dinner go to The Cliff restaurant located on the west coast. simply amazing food and atmosphere. As for renting a car to drive around the island, i highly recommend that. It is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean where if you get lost, simply ask anyone for directions and they will be more than happy to help you out. A good resource for more information is www.myvacationpages.com. They have a nice selection of restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels to choose from. plus, their travel articles section has useful tips. Let me know how your trip went.

Thanks so much for your reply. I really appreciate it. It's so hard to make the choice of which island to visit and getting your feedback is a big help. I'm going to click over to the link you supplied right now!
P.S. Where do you stay when you visit Barbados?
Thanks again!
