Kath and nyc, put Carenage Bay in the search block above and hit go. You'll get the 7 or 8 posts on this board for this proerty from the last year or so. Only 1 poster says she's been there. Liked it pretty much. Couple of others had seen a review in Harper's magazine that was high on the property, low on the service and staff. Take a look for yourself.

Kath, we went to Carenage Bay two years ago, right after it opened. It was the first of may. The property is BEAUTIFUL. The service was great, especially the staff who "entertained" us daily. We were only two of the 25 guest they had there. The beach was empty during our stay, probably because it was so new. We were upgraded to a villa suite that overlooked the beach - the one on the web site. If you're looking for night life go elsewhere. Like I said it was pretty empty, and things might have changed since then. We bought the "Romance" package (now it's called something else) which included breakfast and dinner, a snorkling cruise to Tobago Cays - that was fun, a romantic dinner served in your room. Overall it was very relaxing. If you have any specific questions feel free to e-mail us. <BR>Good luck!
