which island fits us?
I need some help with visiting a new Caribbean island...we love Bermuda...but no nightlife..and shopping is just ok.
St.Maarten was fun and shopping good and restaurants good.
Aruba...good hotel restuarants..not great shopping
P.Rico...ok,
So what I am looking for is another island that has some nightlife..casinos, dancing...also shopping (designer?) and great restaurants....

Have you considered Nassau? Because it has what you want: casino, good shopping, great restaurants, nightlife, dancing. The other possibility is Curacao as it has casinos, good restaurants, but I don't know if the shopping would be enought for you. Willemstad has some neat shops.

If you love Bermuda and you really liked the shopping & food on St. Maarten, you might want to look at St. Barths. It doesn't have casinos, certainly, but it might offer a livelier nightlife than Bermuda. You have the French/European flair rather than the British influence
Granted, I've never been to Bermuda or St. Barths but from my reading it seems that both islands offer a certain amount of sophistication and a relatively high standard of living for locals.

Agree that Nassau is the closest to what you are looking for, possibly San Juan--not St. Barths, Bermuda, or Grenada. You are looking for busy nightlife, casinos, shopping all on the same island--hard to find in the Carib.
