Which is Better Riu Tropical or Couples in Negril???
Which Hotel is the better Place? My Husband and myself and another Couple will be traveling to Jamaica in February. The Riu is about $300 less than the Couples resort? Are the accomodations and ammenities worth the upgrade? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?<BR><BR>Thanks so much

The basic difference is Couples includes<BR>waterskiing,scuba,sunset cruise,snorkle trips on the reefs,shoping excursions and intruction on the nonmotorised water sports equipment in the price.At RIU these are at additional cost.The food is better at Couples.Not saying the food at RIU is bad.Couples is just better.At RIU you have to go to dinner at a set time (They have 2 seatings).At Couples you can go whenever.Also no kids at Couples.IMHO I would spend the extra 300.

I have been to Couples Negril, and it was wonderful, great people, service, rooms, everything! There are all kinds of watersports, the 3 hour catamaran cuise, shopping trip, and a few others. You can do it all or NOTHING..whatever you choose. The nightlife at the resort is a bit slow, but you can check with the front desk where to go, if u want to go out partying! We enjoyed it tremendously, and can't wait to go back! Any ?'s , please feel free to ask!
