I have to agree with the Grand Cayman vote!
Although any of the USVI's are good as well. Easy to get to, resorts use to children, etc. But, especially if they are young, that calm clear water on G.C. would be nice.
My biggest rec with children (also a second) is a villa or something with a kitchen. Eating five times a day in the Caribbean can be cumbersome and EXPENSIVE!

I like Jamaica myself, primarily because I do not want to cook on vacation now do I want to eat out all the time - villas in Jamaica almost always come with a cook (and pool, and maid, and driver, etc.)

If you would like them to be able to interact with local and European children you could consider Isla Mujeres.
A small safe inexpensive and laid back island 10 miles off Cancun.
Norde Beach (on IM)is an awsome beach for kids.
