I have a choice of these two airports from Ft Lauderdale. I've booked Treasure Cay already but can change to Marsh harbour while there are still seats.
Treasure Cay -- don't arrive until 1:40pm but this is our destination
OR
Marsh Harbour -- arrives at 10something AM but just 20 minutes by car to Treasure Cay (according to Fodors)
Which would you do?

If it were me, I'd choose Marsh Harbour. Not only do you get to your destination sooner (always a bonus), but should trouble arise with your flights, you have many more choices going into MHH than TCB.
Thanks Callaloo. What type of transportation would I have from Marsh Harbour to Treasure Cay? Its 20 miles, not 20 minutes, as I posted above. I've looked in my travel book but doesn't mention ferry service from Marsh Harbour to Treasure Cay?
Can we just hire a boat to take us to Treasure Cay for a reasonable amount? Or is a taxi better?

Treasure Cay is not really a cay, part of the main island. We rented a car, it took about 45 minutes from Treasure Cay to Marsh Harbour. There are taxis, and you can make arrangement for them, but if I had to guess, probably around $70? Same as a car rental. If you choose Marsh Harbour, stay a couple of hours and check it out.
It depends on where you are staying. If you plan on staying at elbow or guana cay which would require you take a ferry you should fly to Marsh Harbour. If you plan on staying on Treasure cay then best fly to that airport. As I understand the cab ride would be expensive to Treasure Cay from Marsh Harbor.
We are planning to stay on Treasure Cay and take a couple of day trips to Guana Cay and Elbow Cay. This is purely a " read a book, get some sun" trip for us -- we need a get-a-way!!
Because we didn't want to sit in Ft. Lauderdale too long, we booked our flight to Marsh Harbour -- we're overnighting both ends of the trip. Ugh. But, thought we could look around and then head to the place we're renting.
I know that it would be more convenient to land in Treasure Cay but I don't want to wait until 1:45 when I can be on the island at 10:05! Impatient -- YES!!! (Good Point, Callaloo!)
