Where to stay St. Kitts?

Jump to last reply

So the Marriott is on the table for a honeymoon in St. Kitts.

We like to snorkel, and I know St. Kitts isn't the BEST island for this, but is it awful? I enjoyed St. Thomas and being able to walk off the beach with my fins and swim with the fish. (Kauai, too, for that matter.)

We like lush, beautiful, fewer crowds too. So ultimately we are trying to pick a spot that probably caters to our desire for peace and enjoying natural beauty of an island, but being able to snonrkel a bit is a bonus.

So yeah, the Marriott is out of place, I hear, on St. Kitts. So if not the Marriott, where? And if not St. Kitts, where? Barbados?

We only have 5 or 6 nights, so where ever we pick, leaving from North Carolina, we don't want to spend more than 8 hours getting to and fro...

Packages that include and don't include meals confuse me. Are meal packages on St. Kitts better/more affordable overall?
