Where to Scuba and Snorkel on cruise?
We're heading on a week-long cruise from Puerto Rico to St Thomas, St Maarten, Antigua, Martinique and Tortola. We're on each island from 8 to 5, with one whole day at sea. Which islands would you "sacrifice" seeing the land stuff in order to dive/snorkel? Keep in mind my fiancee is a snorkeler, and I am a diver. Thanks.

I'd sightsee on Antigua and snorkel/dive all the rest. All the other islands have stuff in the dock area that you can wander around and look at if you have time after your snorkel/dive. Antigua does too, but I think the scenery on Antigua is nicer than the other islands you mentioned.

I know I'll get lots of arguments on this one...LOL

I went on a similar cruise last September. I wasn't impressed with Antigua (the land stuff), however, the water was beautiful, so I would say to sacrifice this island. St. Maarten has so much to see with both sides, and it is beautiful. St. Thomas is famous for shopping, and Magen's Bay Beach was beautiful.
