Hello all we got a follow up question on our upcoming trip to Barbados.
Is there a fish market or vendor of sorts where you can buy fresh day boat local catch?
We love to grill and would love to find fresh fish!
Also, the best supermarket on the island?
Thanks

The Ostins Fish Market Sells Freshly Caught fish Daily, go early lots to choose from. I hope you have a safe trip. Not sure where you will be located however in the Accra beach area there is a supermarket that carries a great variety of product
There are several fish markets in villages along the east coast of Barbados. Oistins might be the most convenient since it's nearest the main tourist areas but the east coast is really beautiful, not many tourists and very windswept.
There are plenty markets around Barbados. Let me know where you'll be staying and I'll let you know the closest or most convenient one.
Go early, especially for the local flying fish. Yum!
Thanks Margaret.
We are staying on the east coast of the island near Cattlewash.
Thanks!
