Where in Puerto Rico with Kids?

Hi- We are planning on going to Puerto Rico for spring break in 2011. I have 2 kids ages 10 and 7. We'd like to rent a condo on the beach with a pool. My husband and I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton and liked the area for its accessibility to Old San Juan for shopping and dining. On this trip we also want to visit El Yunque rainforest and other sights in addition to Old San Juan. Is Isla Verde the best place for us to stay, or should we look at other areas of Puerto Rico? Thanks in advance.
