What to do in St. Thomas before flight out

Jump to last reply

After a five day stay in St. John I will be flying out of St. Thomas at 5:00 (I figure I will get to the airport for 3:00) Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the most of my day in St. Thomas. I will have a jeep.

I have pretty much ruled out Megan's Bay as I would have just spent the previous days at some beautiful beaches and don't really think I'll want to bring any sand along to the airport.

If I were to poke around Charlotte Amalie will I have a place to park my jeep?
I am renting from Dependable (if anyone is familiar with them) is there somewhere close to their location to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink?

Is there a scenic ride along the north of the island that would be interesting?

How about access to one of the "big resorts" like Frenchman's--is there parking and public access? Any resorts you might suggest we stop in on?

We can always stay busy on St. John for a little while after we check out of our villa and only take a barge over in early afternoon too.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
