What is the best night life & beach/water activities place to visit?

Hi,

Hubby and I are STILL trying to figure out where the heck to go this year for our vacation. Which island has the best night life & water/beach experience balance. I don;t want to party all night and have a lackluster beach and we don't want to have amazing water activities and a lame evening scene.
