Let me rephrase the Question. Has anyone went to Antigua from Minneapolis and what route did you have to take?

When we flew to Antigua from MSP, we flew American. It wasn't very direct though as we went from here to Chicago to Puerto Rico and then into Antigua. Your best bet may be to check into a MLT vacation or Sun Country. You still may not get a direct flight, but one stop is better than two.

See what Apple Vacations or FunJet are running for charters.

The closest Apple Vacations would be out of Chicago. They only deal with TA's. I don't know what they could do for you from here. Also, although I've heard of Funjet, again I don't think you could get it directly from here. I think you are going to end up making at least one stop, unless you can get an MLT or Sun Country flight. Give them a call and see what they have.

I was wrong, Apple does not fly out of Minneapolis. Milwaukee would be your closest destinations. Funjet does offer services out of Minneapolis but you would have to check their website to see if there is service to Antiqua. When did Sun Country start flying again? Funjet used Sun Country alot until Dec. 2001 when they stopped flying. Haven't heard of them again??

My guess would be that the most direct route to Antigua would be Northwest from Minny to San Juan and then a smaller carrier from San Juan to Antigua.

XXX-<BR>Sun Country came back in 2002 with new owners and very sharp looking planes. I consulted with a friend who works at MSP airport and she had really good things to say about them. The new owners took a bunch of TA's out to Canterbury Downs, I believe, and gave them hot dogs, etc. Some of the TA's I've spoken to said they felt really good about that as it was their opinion that the owners were interested in the airlines and not really just wining and dining the TA's. We're actually flying with them to the USVI next month.
