Weather in St. Thomas in January

I'm leaving for St. Thomas this Saturday, January 5th. I've been checking the weather online and it says scattered showers everyday! Can anyone tell me if those are just a few scattered afternoon storms that won't really affect my trip, or is it the rainy season?!

Thanks in advance for your help!

the forcast for every caribbean island says scattered showers almost every day. if it rains it will normally only last a few minutes, and may rain in one area and not another.
also i think it is too soon to know the weather from jan 5th on. i'd plan on low to mid 80's.
have a great trip.
if you want a splurge dinner try havana blue at the marriott. it's excellent and a lovely atmosphere.

Would some rain make you stay home? Don't worry about it!

Most rain in St Thomas in January, is confined to brief, intense showers. October and November are the rainy months.
