Villas in Barbados: SeaSymphony vs Crowsnest II HELP

We are looking to do a girls getaway to Barbados. Our budget is under $2000 for all necessities including flight per person. Our flights are going to be around $800 each so that leave us 1200 for food, lodging, tax, tip, and adventure money! We are looking at 2 villas currently:
1. Crowsnest II...which I believe is not far from Bridgetown southwest?
2. SeaSymphony which is further north

We are open to considering OTHER BEAUTIFUL villas as well.

Any kind of feedback from anyone who has stayed at either one of these would be appreciated.
We are curious about public transit vs car rental.
Also any input on MUST SEE attractions, MUST DO adventures and MUST EAT restaurants.
We would love to hear about thoughts on having a tranquil yet somewhat adventurous trip.
Tips on avoiding harassing/money hungry locals is also appreciated.
