We are planning a trip to Cuba in March, 2003 and plan on staying at the Brisas Guardalavaca Hotel in Holquin.
Can anyone out there tell me of their experiences at this Hotel?

I stayed at the Amigo Guardalavaca a while back. It's right beside the Brisas. The hotel was really nice. There's a disco inside and most people from surronding hotels go there. it was called La Dolce Vita back then. The beach area is also nice. I personally liked the area in front of the Hotel Atlantico better, but it's right beside Brisas. There's not much else to do in Guardalavaca but the beach is gorgeous and the people are really friendly. Very safe. My girlfriends and I would walk to/from the hotels in and around 2:00 a.m. It's very relaxing. If you're looking for something more entertaining and lots of stuff to do outside the hotel, then I would suggest somewhere else like Varadero.
Hi Dave,
If you choose to re-consider a different hotel, I recently came back from Breezes Costa Verde. Post again if you want more info on that resort.
