I'd be afraid that Paradise Island would be cold in February. The Bahamas aren't very far south.

At that time of year, I'd go to Aruba.

We have heard the Aruba beaches are nice but the water won't be crystal clear right off the beach , is that true?

The water is not crystal clear like in Turks and Caicos or Grand Cayman, but it is still very nice. We loved Aruba way more than Nassau. Tons of things to see and do and excellant dining options.

Thanks so much. We have decided on Aruba. Now...Palm or Eagle Beach?

Palm Beach has high rise hotels lined up beach side and directly across the street are literaly tons of bars, restaurants, shopping and entertainment within walking distance. The beach front also has bars and restaurants. It can get a little crowded depending on the time of year. The Radission and Hyatt get good reviews.

Eagle Beach is more spread out and quieter with low rise hotels. Not as many facilities around and the beach is wider. Most all the hotels have a bus stop so easiy and convenient to get back to Palm Beach or downtown. It depends on what you are looking for. In the middle of everything Palm Beach or on the quieter side Eagle Beach.

Great advice above. We prefer The Radisson to The Hyatt ( have stayed at both) because of pricing and its beachfront which is much less crowded even in season. We like being able to walk to a lot of restaurants, etc., so have only stayed on Palm Beach. Really depends whether you would mind taking the bus/taxi everywhere or would like to be within walking distance of restaurants etc.
