I am planning a honeymoon for early June 2000, and am considering 12 Degrees North. Anyone know anything about it?

My fiancee and I are checking into it as well. An American couple owns it and you can e-mail them direct. Don't call them long distance from the US direct, it cost me $32 for a 15 minute call. It looks like a great value and we are looking for a relaxing honeymoon location in July. They quoted us like $1,000 for the both of us for 6 nights and that includes a maid who cooks your meals. I talked to the owner on the phone and he sounds cool. If you go there in June, send me an e-mail if you liked it since we are going there the next month. Thanks!!!!! Good Luck
We were on Grenada for two weeks over the holidays and drove over to 12 Degrees to see if we would want to stay there the next time. The answer is YES. We wandered onto the grounds on Christmas Day and the charming and gracious owner, Joseph Gaylord encountered us on his property and gave us a tour and showed us two rooms. It is very clean, each room with its own maid/cook who also takes care of your grocery shopping for you. The grounds are beautiful tho I wasn't impressed with the "private beach". The pool was nice though. A rental car is a must there because you are kind of off the beaten path, in an upscale, decidedly not-native neighborhood. That's another drawback. The only Grenadians you will encounter there are maids. In order to get any feel for the culture you will have to venture off the property. Oh yeah, you're on your honeymoon. Nevermind about culture.
