I have been to 17 Club Med and Turquoise Village is my second best village. I was there 3 months after they opened it.
The village is laid out in a very nice way. The
swimming pool is large enough to accomodate a medium
sail boat.
The rooms are very airy and bright and they all are
very close to the main portion of the village.
The presentation every night for dinner its well presented.
This village caters to a lot of european tourists, not too many French people though.
I hope you enjoy it. The beaches are pretty barren, hardley any palm trees for shade, but the color of the water and the sand will compensate all that.
I hope you have a good time. I am planning to go within the next 2 weeks.
Stay next door to Club Med at the Ocean Club. Much nicer. The only thing bad about our trip to Provo was we were next door to club med. They ran a dive boat on the beach, spilled fuel in the ocean and made everyones stay on the beach miserable with all the large equipment they used trying to get the boat off the beach. Only saw a few rooms, they were dorm style.
I have been to other Club Meds before, and was wondering how Turks is for couples. I have heard mixed opinions--some people have said there were a lot of couples there. Other people said they had to leave because there were so many drunk singles their spouses were getting hit on constantly. (We would be traveling in November around Thanksgiving.) Thanks in advance for the feedback.
